Nicola Marconi
Da lunedì 2 aprile e fino a ieri anche la Gran Bretagna ha disputato le sue gare nazionali giovanili: è stata la “casa” d’origine di Tom Daley, il Life Center di Plymouth, a ospitare infatti i British Elite Junior Diving Championships, aperti quest’anno anche a concorrenti stranieri.
E hanno approfittato dell’occasione le tuffatrici italiane Virginia Tiberti e Delfina Calissoni, del Circolo Canottieri Aniene.
Nella prima giornata di gare (martedì) la Calissoni ha preso parte all’eliminatoria dalla piattaforma, categoria B (Ragazze), classificandosi dodicesima con 238.10 punti e quindi non in posizione utile per la finale, cui prendevano parte le prime sei atlete britanniche più eventuali atlete “ospiti” meglio classificate.
